Children's Time
Our Sunday School (for all children from 3 up
to Primary 7 age) meets at the same time as the adults worship on
a Sunday morning – but have a bit more fun as we discover
walking with God can be fun with a capital F. We play games, sing
songs, listen to stories and have fun with craft activities.
Children's Time is from 10.45am till 12 noon on
term time Sundays in St Andrew's Hall, Strathearn Terrace - just
opposite the church, and we join the end of the 11am service. Visiting
children are most welcome.
Seedbeds
This group happens at the same time as Children's
Time and is for toddlers under 3 years old. We make things, sing
songs, play and have a story time. We meet from 10.45am in St Andrew's
Hall and the children come into the church near the end of the service
with the Children's Time children.
Youth Clubs
Team Impact is a time for young

Driven Life" at present..

The Guild
More than 100 years ago The Woman’s
Guild was launched with the motto “Whose we are and whom we
serve” referring to this national womans’ group faith
in Jesus Christ. Since then the Guild have opened the doors to men,
but continue to lead the church forward, being involved in ground
breaking projects in Scotland and overseas that advance the gospel.
In many congregations of the Church of Scotland small and large
meetings of women, either monthly or weekly continue to meet to
worship, educate each other and enjoy fellowship while serving the
wider Church and Christ’s Kingdom. Crieff Guild meet on Wednesday
afternoons in St Andrew’s Hall when new folk and visitors
will always be made welcome – see the Events
section.
Crossreach
Crossreach continues the Church of Scotland’s
long tradition of providing care and support for those in need of
all ages. Services offered range from counselling to residential
care.
Within our own congregation we regularly support
Crossreach in various ways, including Bluebell Day (post natal depression
project) and sale of Christmas goods. Current information can always
be found at the back of the church in the Circle of Care magazine
and prayer letter. The website at www.crossreach.org.uk
is full of news. We are always happy to be contacted on any issue
or idea to do with Crossreach. Contact Alison (01764 656097) or
Susie (01764 654563).
The Dorcas Group
Sewing and knitting are the skills of the Dorcas
group as they enjoy fellowship together while making garments which
are passed on through Blythswood Trust to clothe and keep warm people
in dire straits around the world. Christian care for body, mind
and soul is carried by lorry around the world making regular deliveries
in Albania, Bulgaria, Malawi, Maozambique and India, to name but
a few. Garments for people of all ages are supplied.
Dorcas, is however aware that poverty and need
are not confined to overseas places, so Dorcas works with the Prschal
Trust to meet the needs of deprived folk in the West of Scotland
too - Preschal is Gaelic for Precious.
Much of the work of Dorcas is done at home with
friends and then brought together for the whole group on the first
Monday of the month from October to April.

Rambling Group
The Walkers love heading out into the glorious
Perthshire countryside, sometimes keeping to paths and occasionally
heading over the wild horizon. Saturday mornings seem to be a good
time for this. All are welcome.
World Mission
Minister Jim MacDonald is about to head for Jamaica
to reinforce links with the church there that this congregation
has enjoyed for many a year, but our global interest doesn’t
stop there. Our folk support Christian Aid, Leprosy Mission and
enjoy family contacts in missionary situation across the world including
Nepal.
The Church Magazine
Crieff Chronicle highlights what has been going
on in our congregation and the thoughts of contributors.
